It will not reactivate the USB port unless the plug is out and reinserted. Plug n play and forget about it, is the only way. After a restart the windows drivers reinstall automatically and everything is back to normal. I know all the tricks. I believe the problem must be a power thing. Oh god I hope so.

Microsoft drive r in use at the moment and I lohic get the warning Usb hub no longer recognized. On my Mobo it used to lofic fine but now that I’ve bought Inateck, the sensors are all over the place power management turned off and all that jazz.

After a restart the windows drivers reinstall automatically and everything is back to normal. I have had the same problems with my ASUS laptop. Must be a power problem. I have never had so many damn issues with hardware. It will not reactivate the USB port unless the plug is out and reinserted.
